“I don’t have to hit a homerun or a grand slam all of the time. If I hit a single and if I get on base, I will get home. When you hit four singles, you get home.” -- Brandi Pearl Thompson

On this week’s Xperience Partner Call, Director of Expansion Katie Benson interviewed a very special addition to the network, Brandi Pearl Thompson from Chattanooga, TN. Brandi has been a successful solo agent, closing more than 100 units a year, year over year, for the last six years. Looking to take her business and her personal growth to the next level, Brandi joined the Charlotte Mabry Team powered by Xperience.

As Katie introduced Brandi, she called her a “force.” Brandi is 100% committed to her goals and has the grit to go through the tough stuff to get where she wants to go. Equally as important, Brandi has the courage to be vulnerable enough to share in a transparent way that encourages others to rise.

When Brandi first moved to Chattanooga without knowing another soul, she purchased a commercial cleaning business. At the age of 21, she was grossing $9,000 a month and growing. She had made a promise to herself that she would never have a job. She was not passionate about and did not love the cleaning company and soon realized she had a job and that did not make sense to her.

She built relationships in real estate through her cleaning company which helped her pivot to real estate. Having previous experience in credit card sales, Brandi loved the phone. Her first day in the office, she took a call and sold a house. That was it, the catalyst to launch her successful career.

Starting out as a buyers agent, in seven years, she outgrew the systems and models of the team where she started. She became a solo agent that grew one of the top five businesses in all of Keller Williams Tennessee.

What can we learn from Brandi’s success? She focuses on one win at a time.

“I don’t have to hit a homerun or a grand slam all of the time. If I hit a single and if I get on base, I will get home. When you hit four singles, you get home.”

While the success was exciting, Brandi realized she wasn’t where she needed to be. She needed something different. Why did she select an expansion organization?

Katie asked, “What attracted you to the Charlotte Mabry Team?”

“Charlotte has always been a force in our market. She is one of the agents who has had some major staying power and is well respected and classy…I do better when I am part of something bigger than myself. I didn’t need what I thought I needed. Charlotte has the systems and the organization. I kept tabs of the top teams in my marketplace and watched them. I liked how hers works and who she has partnered with. She has thought outside of this region and this marketplace. She has stretched herself outside of what is comfortable. This allows me to reach potential I have not, “ Brandi explained.

Like attracts like. The reasons Brandi joined the Charlotte Mabry Team are quite similar to why Charlotte partnered with Xperience

Katie went on to ask, what attracted Brandi to the Xperience?

“Xperience talks about having xperiential lives — creating experiences for our family and our community, making the world a better place. Growth, relationships, opportunity go to my core values. It makes me better by aligning with what is a better course for me…The values lined up with mine and made sense because there are a lot of changes in the industry,” Brandi said.
