At Mega Camp, Chris Suarez was joined onstage by Tim Heyl of The Heyl Group in Austin TX, Christie Cannon of KW Frisco TX, and Erin McCormick of Hergenrother Realty Group in South Burlington, Vermont to discuss the changing landscape of social media and how to make it work for you and your business.
The underlying theme during this panel was that follow-up with leads is KEY.
Did you know that 90% of sales people don’t make it to the sixth attempt and 90% consumers answer the phone after six attempts? Chris Suarez says, “You cannot put an age on an internet lead.” Statistics show that leads are less likely to answer the phone five minutes after online contact information is gathered. Tim Heyl stated, “If you have a lead that wants to talk to you, text is the best way of connecting. If they don’t want to talk to you, calling is the best way of connecting.
Chris also talked about how the relationships we have are extremely important to interact with through social media. We must connect with them and nurture them through different platforms. It’s not just about lead generation, it is about building relationships with potential talent and your team members.
Figure out how your lead wants to be communicated with. Is your lead an Auditory, Visual, or a Kinesthetic individual? Meet them where they are at.
